Lisa Callis England, age 55, of Sheridan, Indiana, passed away at her home in Sheridan on January 11, 2014.
Born July 2, 1958, in Columbus, Indiana, Lisa was the daughter of the late Glen Callis and Lois Mann. She was a 1976 graduate of Columbus High School and a graduate of IUPUI where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Design. She was currently working toward her Master's Degree in Fine Arts at the Herron School of Art. Lisa was a very talented artist, winning numerous awards, and was also a member of many different art societies throughout her career. She loved sharing her talents with young students as a teacher at the J. Everett Light Center in Indianapolis.
She had a very adventurous spirit and a kind, gentle soul and was a loving wife and mother.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Steven R. England; five sons, Joshua Waltz of Indianapolis, Ross England and Job England, both of Columbus, Indiana, Dillon Hounshell of Brooklyn, Indiana, and Jeremy Nichols of Paoli; 16 grandchildren with one more on the way; one brother, Ed Callis of Florida; and one sister, Denise Kasper of Indianapolis.
A memorial service is being planned for the spring. Arrangements are being handled by Kercheval Funeral Home in Sheridan.
