Ashley Dawn Stone, 30, of DeBary, Florida, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
Ashley was born in Columbus, Indiana, on October 2, 1983, the daughter of Darryl and Colleen (Shilling) Stone. She moved to Florida in November 2004 to be with her mother's side of the family and was employed by JP Morgan Chase Bank in Lake Mary, Florida.
Ashley is survived by her parents, Darryl and Colleen Stone of Columbus, Indiana; a brother, Adam Stone of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandparents, Ernie and Barbara (Waltz) Stone of Columbus, Indiana; grandmother, Dellas Ann Shilling of DeBary, Florida; aunts, Jan (Mike) Rynerson and Madaline Carter; an uncle, Clyde (Melissa) Shilling; and cousins, Johnny (Amy) Carter, Chantel Carter, Chris Rynerson, Shelly Rynerson, Autumn Shilling, Dusti Rynerson, Trey Shilling, Willow Rynerson and Iris Rynerson.
Ashley was preceded in death by her grandfather, Clyde D. Shilling, and her uncle, John B. Carter Jr.
Ashley enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Although she endured difficulties in her life, she made the most of every day, truly living each day to the fullest. She touched so many people with her kind nature, sense of humor, her laughter and her respect for everyone! She loved with all her heart and will be truly missed by everyone who knew her!
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor John Reynolds officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
