Jean J. Nyberg, 90 of Vance Street, died at 4:16 p.m., Friday, January 24, 2014 at Willow Crossing Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Jean retired from Como Plastics in 1985, she enjoyed being with family and going to the Community Center of Hope.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Gerald Hancock officiating.
Family and friends may call from 12:30 p.m. to time of service; burial will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.

Jean was born in Columbus, July 25, 1923 the daughter of Andrew and Etta Purtlebaugh Johnson.
She married Elmer J. Nyberg on September 21, 1946, and he preceded her in death on September 23, 1985.
Survivors include her children, Paul (Phyllis) Nyberg, Carl Nyberg, Debra (Kim) Haza and Kathy Floyd, all of Columbus; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, two sisters; and a grandson, Joseph Hammond Nyberg.
