Kay Ann Marshall (née Peterson), age 72, passed away at her home in Columbus, Indiana, in the company of loved ones on Saturday, January 25th.
Kay was born on February 16, 1941, in Blue Creek, Ohio, and was a longtime resident of Indianapolis. She worked at the Indianapolis Orthopedic Center for over 30 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, James E. Marshall, in April 2012.
Kay is survived by her siblings, Dinah McLean of Seattle, Washington, Nadine Williams of Venice, Florida, and Danny Peterson of Mount Orab, Ohio; and her niece, Stacie Hiett of Seattle, Washington. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Jeff Marshall of Columbus, Indiana, Kevin Marshall of Anaheim, California, David Marshall of Milan, New York, and Jennifer Marshall of Indianapolis, as well as eight stepgrandchildren and thirteen stepgreat-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life was held at the Gothic Chapel, 34th Street Entrance, Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis, at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 28.
