Robert G. "Bob" Flint, 76, of Columbus, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at his home.
Known as the "Cookie Man," Mr. Flint was a longtime sales representative for Keebler where he received several awards for top sales and product displays. He retired from Kellogg's and later worked for CROSSMARK where he was in charge of ordering and stocking at the Columbus Kroger store.
Bob was a member of Columbus Moose Lodge. He enjoyed attending Cincinnati Reds baseball games and was an avid IU fan, reader, golfer and animal lover.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Father Doug Marcotte officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Bartholomew County Humane Society.

Born in Madison June 7, 1937, Mr. Flint was the son of Bernard and Ramona Bish Flint. He married Viola M. "Vi" Schmidt June 29, 1968. She preceded him in death June 8, 2010.
Survivors include his children, Robert (Sharon) Flint of Long Beach, CA, James (Mary) Flint of Monroe, MI, Amber Dawn (Michael) Stephenson of Long Beach, CA, and Michael Flint of Long Beach, CA; a sister, Sharon (Gilbert) Reardon of Hanover; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Flint was preceded in death his parents; his wife; and a brother, Donald Flint.
