Edward A. Blevins, 57, of Seventh Street, passed away at 8:55 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2014, at Columbus Regional Hospital Emergency Room.
Edward was born on October 28, 1956, in Joliet, Illinois, to Jack L. and Diane C. Meranda Blevins. He married Kim A. Klemz on June 24, 1995, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
He was employed at Rose Acre Farms as a purchasing consultant and always said work was his hobby. He enjoyed scrap metal, antiques and the outdoors and loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his children.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church with Pastor Patrick Galliagar officiating. Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street and from 10:00 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Columbus Regional Hospital Kidney Dialysis Department or St. Peter's Lutheran School.

Edward is survived by his wife, Kim A. Blevins; daughters, Miranda Nicole Blevins and Kaitlyn Rose Blevins; his father, Jack L. Blevins of Hayden; brother, Larry W. (Becky) Blevins of Columbus; sisters, Mary Rose (Jeff) Meece of Commiskey and Barbara J. (Ken) Harris of Butlerville; brothers, Joe A. Blevins and James R. (Brandy) Blevins both of Hayden; brother-in-law, Kevan P. Klemz of Delano, Minnesota; mother and father-in-law, Harlen H. and Caroline A. Klemz of Columbus; and 10 nieces and nephews.
Edward was preceded in death by his mother, Diane C. Blevins.
