William B. Waltz Sr., 55, of Hege Avenue, passed from this life at 12:17 a.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
For 25 years, William was employed at Cosco Inc., which later became Dorel Juvenile Group. He was a member of New Life Missionary Baptist Church and was a talented mirror engraver.
His hobbies included hosting garage sales, fishing, and flower and vegetable gardening.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Elder Scott Harper officiating. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Waltz family through the funeral home.

Born in Franklin December 22, 1958, Mr. Waltz was the son of Raymond Eugene and Pattsie Anne Manley Waltz. He married Esther M. Mitchell December 18, 1999.
Survivors include his wife; his mother, of North Vernon; children, Joshua Joe Waltz of Indianapolis, William Boyd (Sylvia) Waltz Jr. of North Vernon, Pattsie Kay Waltz of Columbus, and Johnathon Ray Waltz of Columbus; grandchildren, Carissa, Erik, Alexandra, Cassidy, and Callela Waltz; sisters, Vivian Moore of North Vernon and Deborah (Ralph) Pendleton of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.
William was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents; a brother, Rickie Waltz; and a nephew, David Moore.
