Terrace Lake Road
Dorothy A. Mengler, 102, of Terrace Lake Road, died at 2:03 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Dorothy was formerly employed with the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation; she was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Bells of Jonesville and Women's Sewing Circle.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Mark Teike officiating.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:30 a.m. to time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, St. Peter's Lutheran School or Trinity Lutheran High School.

Dorothy was born in Jonesville, August 28, 1911, the daughter of Fred and Augusta Eickbush Voss.
She married Oscar W. Mengler on July 27, 1937; he preceded her in death on August 14, 1994.
Survivors include her daughters, Karen (Bill) Moore and Linda (Charles) Kiel, both of Columbus; a sister, Rocille Bennett of Jonesville; grandchildren, Bryan Kiel, David (Maureen) Moore, Jay Kiel, Danny Moore, Greg (Robin) Kiel and Darren (Pam) Moore, all of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Matthew (Heather) Kiel, Katie Kiel, Betsy Kiel, Ashley Moore, Dayton Moore, Brittany Kiel, Stephany Kiel, Meagan Kiel, Jaynie Kiel, Kendra (Will) Wagner, Brooke Moore, Weston Moore, Drew Kiel, Mallory Kiel, Sydney Kiel, Reese Moore and Laney Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; brothers, Orval and Donald Voss; and sisters, Anna Belle Thompson and Florene Dunn.
