West Wood Lake Lane
Earl E. Hahn, 80, of West Wood Lake Lane, died at 5 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Hahn was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War being honorably discharged July 24, 1956.
He was employed in the finance department at Cummins Engine Company and retired after 20 years of service.
An avid golfer, Mr. Hahn loved nature and animals.
In keeping with Mr. Hahn's wishes, cremation is planned. A private family memorial service will held at a later date.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, 2626 East 17th St., Columbus, IN 47201.
Born in Decatur, Illinois April 14, 1933, Mr. Hahn was the son of Earl Edward and Helen Kolowski Hahn.
Mr. Hahn is survived by his companion, Sharon Tower of Columbus; children, Lark Hahn of Indianapolis, Rebecca (Jay) Schuff of Grass Valley, California, and Eric Hahn of Columbus; grandchildren, Rigel Hahn of Avon, Sophie Schuff of Grass Valley, and Christopher Hahn of Columbus; a brother, Ronald Hahn of Reno, Nevada; and long time caregivers, Kathy and Charlie Bushong and family.
Mr. Hahn was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Christopher Hahn; and sisters, Beverly and Joyce of Reno, Nevada.
Arrangements were made by Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
