Truman A. Galloway, 93, of Columbus, died at 1:19 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mr. Galloway retired in 1984 from Cummins Engine Company where he had worked for 31 years. He was a member of Seventh Street Church of God, the American Legion, VFW, Forty & Eight, Jonesville Masonic Lodge and Diesel Workers Union.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Jerry Ballard officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m.Thursday and from 9 a.m. to time of service Friday. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour with military honors conducted by Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice of charities.

Mr. Galloway was born in Bonecave, Tennessee, January 22, 1921, the son of Walter C. and Recie M. Cole Galloway. He married Irma C. Fleetwood on November 27, 1953.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Shari (Joe) Eikman of Waldron; a son, Thomas (Jennifer) Galloway of Columbus; grandchildren, Jimmy Eikman, Amanda Eikman, Emily Galloway and Andres Galloway; and great-grandchildren, Emma Cloud, Lillian Merriweather and Izzabelle Eikman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles Galloway; and a sister, Thelma Sines.
