Peggy A. Hamilton, 59, of McClure Road, died Saturday, March 8, 2014, at her home.
Peggy earned an Associate Degree in criminal justice from Essex County College in Newark, New Jersey, and a Bachelor's Degree in business from Indiana Wesleyan University. She formerly worked in shipping and receiving at Diamet, was a former human resource specialist at Atterbury Job Corps and most recently was a vocation specialist at Developmental Services Inc.
She was a faithful member of Calvary Community Church where she was a longtime organist. She loved to sing.
The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Calvary Community Church with Bishop Charles Sims officiating. Special remarks will be given by Pastor Mike Harris of Faith, Hope, and Love C.O.G.I.C. Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until service time Friday at the church. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Community Church.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, January 27, 1955, Peggy was the loving daughter of John A. and Peggy J. Koon Wilson of Columbus, formerly of New Jersey.
Survivors include her parents; sons, Nashod Hamilton of Cockeysville, MD, and Reginald Ringo of Columbus; a daughter, Ahleia Wilson of Indianapolis; a granddaughter, Kimora Ringo of Columbus; a sister, Theresa (James H.) Creecy-Green of Columbus; brothers, Gary Wilson of Las Vegas, DuWyce (Celestine) Wilson of Columbus, John A. Wilson II of Columbus, and Hussein O. Nkrumah of New Jersey; an aunt, Maureen Hagwood of New Jersey; uncles, Daryl (Theresa) Koon of Union, NJ, Herbert Wilson of Atlanta, and Wazir (Anisa) Wilson of Valdosta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; God brothers, Michael and Preston Ross of North Carolina; and an honorary brother, Heyward "Ray" Gipson of Columbus.
Peggy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Perry and Thelma Koon; her paternal grandparents, Samuel and Pearlie Mae Wilson; a sister, Adrienne Wilson; brothers, Randy and Gino Wilson; and a brother-in-law, Michael Creecy.
The family gives a special thank you to Eugene Williams for the special care he gave Peggy.
