Laura Lee Sidwell, 50, of McClure Street, died at 12:20 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
A homemaker, Lee had worked on the road crew for Milestone Construction and the Indiana State Highway Department. She was a member of Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle and she enjoyed her family and friends and working in her yard and flower beds.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Mark Myers officiating. Family and friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle.

Born in Columbus May 28, 1963, Lee was the daughter of Alfred and Nell Gilbert Christian. She married James K. Sidwell June 13, 1995.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Nell Gilbert Edwards of Columbus; children, Abraham Dooley (Janice Wilson) of Columbus, Aaron Taylor (Hiaely Perry) of Brownstown, and Yvonne Sidwell, Debrah Sidwell, and Kenneth Sidwell, all of Columbus; her twin sister, Sue (Mark) Franklin of Columbus; sisters, Patty (Bill) Knapp, Zola Christian, Kathy (Ron) Hubbard, Marcia Murphy, Barbara (T.J.) Carmer, Michele Comstock, and Debbie (Larry) Rothrock, all of Columbus; nine grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Lee was preceded in death by her father; a stepson, Cory Sidwell; stepfathers, Gilbert Feese and Rex Edwards; and a sister, Connie Childers.
