Doyle M. Rawlinson, 72, of 10th Street, passed from this life at 4:45 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
For 42 years, Mr. Rawlinson worked with the Office Committee Union at Cummins Engine Company.
He took pride in researching his family's genealogy and he truly cherished the time he spent with his granddaughter.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Virgil Clotfelter officiating.
Family and friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Born in Columbus April 7, 1941, Mr. Rawlinson was the son of Melvin Fremont and Clara Lorene Brown Rawlinson. He married Sherianne Lawless on December 30, 1972.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Tom (Melissa) Rawlinson of Columbus; a granddaughter, Zaeleigh Rawlinson of Columbus; a nephew, Jerry (Alice) Rawlinson of Elizabethtown; and a niece, Lisa (Andy) Hammond of Jennings County.
Mr. Rawlinson was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jaron Rawlinson.
