75George W. Myers Jr., 75, of Edinburgh, died at 10:10 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation in Franklin.
Mr. Myers retired from Golden Foundry in Columbus after 15 years of service and was a member of Whosoever Will Community Church in Edinburgh. He was a loving father, loved his grandchildren, liked model cars and going to tractor and car shows.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Whosoever Will Community Church, 623 S. Eisenhower Dr., Edinburgh, with the Rev. Lewis Burton officiating. Calling will be at the church from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 1 p.m. until service time Friday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
Arrangements were made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
Born in Johnson County Jan. 21, 1939, Mr. Myers was the son of George W. Myers Sr. and Wilma Kaiser Myers.
He is survived by daughters, Denise (Luke) Swift of Edinburgh, Vickie (Bob) Richardson of Edinburgh, and Tammy (Duke) Baker of Columbus; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Myers; a sister, Olive Myers; and a grandson, Joshua Myers.
