James K. Kelsch of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Columbus, passed away April 3, 2014, at Oaklawn Health and Rehab, with his wife by his side.
He retired from Duke Energy where he was an electrical engineer. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a graduate of Purdue University.
James was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his sons, Loveta Castner Kelsch.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Shirley M. Kelsch; sons, Jon A. Kelsch and Tyler G. Kelsch (Janet); a daughter, Kimberly N. Keesaer (Robert W.); and grandchildren, Mark T. Kelsch, Brooke M. Kelsch, Olivia M. Keesaer and Robert T. Keesaer.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 7, 2014, at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville, KY 40243. Calling will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Daugherty Cemetery, Walesboro, Ind.
