Douglas Edward "Doogie" Robertson, 29, of Hope, died March 31, 2014, in Waxahachie, TX.
He graduated from Hauser High School in 2003 and graduated from Ball State University with a degree in nursing. He was a member of Chapel of the Good Shepherd, loved fishing and reading and enjoyed all sports.
There will be a memorial service on Sunday, April 13, starting at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Good Shepherd on County Road 700N, west of Hope.
Arrangements were made by Norman Funeral Home in Hope.
Born December 27, 1984, Doug was the son of Marvin D. and Sue A. (Streeval) Robertson.
Survivors include his parents, of Hope; grandmother, Peggy Stoner of Shelbyville; half sisters, Kelly Hoffman of Columbus and Jenifer Gross of Amity; half brothers, Jeffery Robertson of North
Vernon and Edward L. Gross II of Florida; his girlfriend, Johnna Cape of Indianapolis; his forever loves, Lila Bear and Kara McNeely-Robertson; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Doug was preceded in death by a sister, Beth Ann Robertson; and grandparents, Francis and Dike Robertson, and Grandpa Donald Stoner.
