Clara Agnes Manlief, 97, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at the Twin Towers in Cincinnati. She was born April 10, 1917, in Jennings County, the daughter of Clinton Clyde and Mary Elizabeth (Shoemake) Manlief.

A graduate of Zenas High School, Miss Manlief lived most of her life in Cincinnati and retired from the dietary department at Christ Hospital.

She is survived by her brother, Alvin (Norma) Manlief of Westport, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Martha Fonseth, Barbara Schwering, Dorothy Miller and Betty Rogers; and brothers, Ray Manlief and Roy Manlief.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Rev. Glenn Black officiating. Burial will follow at Westport Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service at 3:00 p.m.
