Linda Irene Ford, 70, of Indianapolis, formerly of Columbus, died at 3:45 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis.
A homemaker, Linda formerly worked at the JayC Food Store in Columbus and enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with Dr. W.E. Bailey officiating. Family and friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hospice.

Born in Madison August 25, 1943, Linda was the daughter of Leonard LaValle and Virginia Lucille Powers Rea.
Survivors include daughters, Cindy (Anthony) England of Taylorsville and Tina (David) Barlow of Elizabethtown; grandsons, Justin and Jordan Huff and Anthony England Jr.; sisters, Jaunny (John) Luta and Emma Bailey, both of Indianapolis; a brother, Keith (Carol) Rea of Columbus; and nieces and nephews, Rick Rea, Bruce White, Raymond White, Stacy Rea, Leonard Rea II, Steven Rea, Laura Ayala, Lisa Edwards, Brian Rea, Brent Rea, Michael Rea, and Jacob Luta.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, June Rea Ford; a grandson, Jeremiah England; an infant sister, Doris June Rea; and a brother, Leonard Rea.
