Charles M. Breeding, 69, of Franklin, died at 8:04 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at IU Health Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
Charles was a member of Old Union Church of Christ in Edinburgh.He was a 1962 graduate of Edinburgh High School and served in the US Army from 1967 to 1971.
He retired from Bo-Witt Products, Edinburgh, in 2006 after 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, vacationing, going to the casino, antique shopping and NASCAR.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home with the Rev. Lewis Burton officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
Charles was born Aug. 31, 1944 in Edinburgh, the son of Noah and Mabel Wheaton Breeding. He married Linda Burkhart in 1974.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Burkhart Breeding; a son, David (Rebecca) Bevis of Columbus; daughters, Debra (Jeff) McCormick of Franklin and Sherri (Michael) Foster of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Kelly (Sam) Shepherd, Shawna (Damon) Campbell, Courtney Bowling, Kelsie Bevis, Katelyn Bevis, Karissa Bevis and Klaire Bevis; great-grandchildren, Nolan Shepherd, Cheyenne Campbell and Brooklyn Jones; and a sister-in-law, Marcella Terry.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James Rudolph; and a sister, Evelyn Rudolph Vassar.
