Delanie V. Scroghan, 17, of Newton Street, died at 1 a.m. Sunday, May 11, 2014, as the result of a traffic accident.

Delanie was a junior at Columbus North High School and was employed at Red Lobster. She enjoyed riding four-wheelers with her friends and spending time with family and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with Pastor Jim Bricker officiating. Family and friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday. Entombment will be at Garland Brook Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bartholomew County Humane Society.

Delanie was born in Columbus October 9, 1996, the daughter of Brett C. Biddinger and Jennifer S. Scroghan.

Survivors include her mother, Jennifer Scroghan Crawford of Columbus; a brother, Ethan Crawford of Columbus; grandparents, Tim and Pam Scroghan of Columbus; great-grandparents, Jack and Marjorie Scalf of Florida; an uncle, Dan Lee of Greenwood; and an aunt, Amber Tate of Cincinnati.

She was preceded in death by her father, Brett C. Biddinger, on September 9, 2008, and a brother, Conner Crawford.
