Donald R. "Rudy" Rudolph, 71, of Seymour, died at 2:05 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014, at his home.
Mr. Rudolph retired in 1994 from Cummins Engine Company where he had worked for 33 years. After retiring, he started Rudy's Leather and Harness.
He was a member of Bartholomew and Scott County Saddle Club, Jackson County Spurs and Wheels, Seymour Masonic Lodge and Brown's Corner Chapel. An Army Reserve veteran, he enjoyed camping, trail riding and reading.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Mark Hammel officiating. Family and friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until service time Monday. Cremation is planned after the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Hooved Animal Humane Society, Schneck Hospice, Jackson County Humane Society or Brown's Corner Chapel building fund.

Mr. Rudolph was born in Seymour on September 24, 1942, the son of E. Roy and B. Ruth Fox Rudolph. He married Resa K. Behrman on May 17, 1980.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Damita Rudolph of Spencer, Denisa Rudolph of Columbus, and Andrea Rudolph of Seymour; a granddaughter, Kaycee Roudebush of Seymour; a great-grandson, Braxton Roudebush of Lebanon; a nephew, Brad Lain of Columbus; and a brother-in-law, Tom Lain of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sue Lain; and a granddaughter, Ashley Freyn.
