Evelyn Rosalie Carlock, 76, of Grammer, formerly of Columbus, passed away at 12:40 a.m. Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Columbus Regional Hospital, following a brief illness.
Rosalie was born in Columbus February 17, 1938, to the late Charles and Imogene Throop Hornback. She was a 1956 graduate of Columbus High School.
A wonderful cook, she had been head cook at Bartholomew County Children's Home, where she was loved by all, and formerly worked at Lois's Fish Stand on 17th Street for several years. She loved the beauty and quietness of country living in Grammer the past 30 years.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Virgil Coltfelter officiating. Family and friends may call from noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Rosalie is survived by her sons, Danny Ray Frazier of Seymour and Robert Douglas Frazier of North Vernon; granddaughters, Allison and Kerri Frazier of North Vernon; brothers, Steve Hornback and Randy (Patti) Hornback, both of Columbus; a sister, Patti (Sonny) Gillaspy of Venice, Florida; and a dearly loved uncle, Vernon (Dorothy) Cox of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Joy Carlock.
