Nathan Ray Gault, 40, of Greensburg, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014 at 8:20 a.m. at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.
Born March 21, 1974 in Columbus, he was the son of Randy Keith Gault and Linda Kay (Beesley) Robinson. He was raised on the family farm and had been a Decatur County resident all his life. He graduated from South Decatur High School in 1994 and was on the South Decatur High School State Championship football team. He worked for O’Mara Contractor for 20 years and was a member of the Power of the Past. He enjoyed antique tractor pulls, shooting guns, family and friends and his pets.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Robinson of Greensburg; his father, Randy (Karen) Gault of Westport; fiancé, Shannon Carder of Greensburg; daughter, Brianna of Greenwood; son, Zachary Gault of Greensburg; sisters, Christy Gault of Greenwood, Annie Moore, Amanda Gault, and Kelli Gault all of Westport; brother Brian Gault of Greensburg.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Lela Gault and Howard and Beverly Beesley.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home and Crematory. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Humane Society.
