Hazel M. Settle, 80, of Columbus, died at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at her home.
Mrs. Settle was former part owner of Bense & Settle Hardware, worked at C.P. Electronics for 18 years and was a rental property owner.
She enjoyed square dancing, gardening and decorating her home during the Christmas Season.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Jerry K. Day Sr. officiating. Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to time of service Monday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or The Columbus Bible Church.

Born in Columbus, August 31, 1933, Mrs. Settle was the daughter of Joseph and Zelma Rutan Wood.
She married Richard D. Settle on December 19, 1959. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2004.
Survivors include her brother, Oscar Wood of Columbus; nieces, Donna (Joe) Whipker of Columbus; Jean (Paul) Bennett of Columbus; Beth Ann (Robin) Roseberry of Alabama and Janet Kocab of Oklahoma; nephews, Floyd (Tammi) Wood of Virginia; Joseph Wood of Columbus and Kenny Walters of Nebraska; also surviving are several great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers; Homer, James, Charles and Donald Wood; and a sister, Bessie Walters.
