Keith Alan Murray, 49, of Red Boiling Springs, TN, formerly of Columbus, died at 7:55 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky, in Bowling Green.
Born in Columbus, January 19, 1965, Keith was the son of Clifford and Jean N. Burton Murray. He married Renee A. Kabrich February 4, 2013.
Keith worked at Stitches Garment Factory in Gamaliel, KY. He had formerly worked at Webb's and Amos Hill Veneer in Edinburgh and was a member of the Painter's Union.
Keith was a car enthusiast. He liked Corvettes, old cars, and he enjoyed attending car shows. He also had a passion for boating at Dale Hollow Lake.
Survivors include his wife, Renee; his mother, Jean Murray of Columbus; his father, Clifford Murray of Tompkinsville, KY; stepsons, Jonathon and James Leonard of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Will Kinnaman and Jonathon Hibbs, both of Columbus; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Keith was preceded in death by his grandparents, Coy and Rissie Burton of Columbus and Van and Stella Murray of Tompkinsville, KY.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Kenneth Lee officiating. Family and friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday and from noon until service time Tuesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
