Suann Krakoski, 77, of Rocky Ford Road, passed from this life at 12:39 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
A homemaker, Mrs. Krakoski was a pharmacy technician at the former Taylor Drugs in Columbus.
She was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and her hobbies included flower gardening, reading, working crossword, and jigsaw puzzles.
She was a loving and caring grandmother to five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. She will be missed by her special friend, her pug, Diego.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Garland Brook Cemetery, section 41, with Father Doug Marcotte officiating. Private visitation will be held at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.

Born in Georgetown, Illinois, October 28, 1936, Mrs. Krakoski was the daughter of Charles and Mary Hart Nier. She married Robert Krakoski December 18, 1954, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chicago.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Robert Krakoski; children, Brenda Elkins of Columbus, Steven Krakoski of Phoenix, Arizona, and Janice (Tony) Russell of Columbus; grandchildren, Kyle and Haley Krakoski, Megan Stiffler, and Peyton and Alex Russell; a great-granddaughter, Quinnlee Stiffler; a brother, Mick (Pat) Nier of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and a sister, Saundra Klaman of Westville, Illinois.
Mrs. Krakoski was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Hart Nier.
