Timothy W. Toth, 57, of Edinburgh, Indiana, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014.

He was born May 18, 1957, in Vincennes, Indiana, the son of William R. "Bill" and Margaret C. "Peggy" Vogenthaler Toth.

He was a graduate of Lincoln High School and Vincennes University where he received his degree in Building Trades.

He was a skilled licensed contractor in various aspects of construction including electrical, plumbing, home construction, and concrete. He owned and operated Cherokee Development INC. of Edinburgh and was instrumental in the development of decorative concrete finishing in Indiana. He currently was operating a concrete pumping company. He was a member of the American Concrete Institute. He also held a Real Estate Brokers license.

He formerly attended Old Cathedral Catholic Church. He married Diane Fortner on April 22, 1983, and they made their life together for 31 years.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Toth; children, Dawn and Ryan Clark of Fairland, Indiana, Kristina and Luke Martin of Birmingham, Alabama, Matthew Toth of Edinburgh, Indiana, and Justin Toth also of Edinburgh, Indiana; grandchildren, Joy Martin, Ethan Martin, and Ellie Martin; parents, William R. "Bill" and Margaret C. "Peggy" Toth of Vincennes; his four brothers, Tom and Paula of Spring, Texas, Jim and Lynn of Dale, Indiana, John and Lori of Claremont, Florida, and David and Susie of Vincennes, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Toth in June of 2014.

Funeral services will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home with Fr. Ron Kreilein officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends and Family may call on Tuesday July 29, 2014, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made in his memory through the funeral home to the Bridge Pointe Health Campus Alzheimer’s Care Unit.
