Rosann Conway, 81, of County Road 200W, died at 2:00 p.m. August 2, 2014, at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin.
Rosann was born November 16, 1932, in Brownstown, Indiana, the daughter of Joseph W. and Bertha Mae Bland Kindred. She married Robert L. Conway January 5, 1951. Robert died August 3, 2014, 18 hours after Rosann.
Rosann was a fifty-year member of New Hope Christian Church and a 54-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She had worked for Marion-Kay in Brownstown and H&R Block as the office supervisor as well as a tax preparer. Rosann also volunteered as a Girl Scout leader.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. John Sichting officiating. Calling will be from 3 to 7 Tuesday, August 5, and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Hope Christian Church or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Survivors include a son, Robert E. Conway of Greensburg; a daughter, Kathy A. (Steven H. ) Phillips of Columbus; grandchildren, Damen J. (Tina) Conway, Robert L. Conway, Jessica A. Sandifer, Brian S. (Jennifer) Phillips and Brent Robert (Dana) Phillips; great-grandchildren, Tia Conway, Robert Preston Conway, Francis Anthony Phillips, Maxwell Steven Phillips and Veronica Christine Phillips; and several special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a beloved daughter-in-law, Debra L. Conway; brothers, Robert, Harry, Maurice "Pee Wee," and Donald Ray Kindred; and sisters, Maurita Chaplin, Josephine Cochran, Frances Green and Beatrice "Babe" McKinney.
