Alice M. Cochran, 92, of Foxpointe Drive, died at 8:27 a.m. Sunday, August 17, 2014, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Alice was a member of First Baptist Church in North Vernon and was formerly employed at C.P. Electronics and Reliance Electric.
A past Worthy Matron of Order of the Eastern Star in Clifford, she enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with family.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Mike Newlin officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or the Alzheimer's Association.

Born in Jennings County September 4, 1921, Mrs. Cochran was the daughter of Jesse and Anna Humphrey Cook.
She married Leland E. Cochran December 21, 1940. He preceded her in death June 22, 2001.
Survivors include her children, Ronald (Gloria) Cochran of Scipio, Dennis (Joyce) Cochran of Columbus, and Brenda (Mike) Shireman of Columbus; a sister, Betty Phillips of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Lisa Cornett, Jeff (Mary Ann) Cochran, Scott (Jeny) Shireman, Jennifer (Jeremy) Kittle, Gwen (Chris) Lenning, Cindy (Scot) Long, Chris (Bella) Cochran and Suzie (Melton) Swaim; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, J. Fredrick Cook; sisters, Florence Schill, Genevieve McPeek and Emily Cook; a son, Russell Cochran; a granddaughter, Angela Shireman; and a great-grandson, Daniel Cochran.
