Alma M. McKinney, 95, of Brownstown, died at 2:25 a.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown.
A member of Brownstown Christian Church, Alma also had been a member of Order of the Eastern Star and the Past Matrons with Eastern Star. She worked at Arvin Industries in Columbus for 34 years.
Born February 15, 1919, in Freetown, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Lona C. Taylor McMahon. On December 27, 1937, in Salem, Indiana, she married Paul E. McKinney. He preceded her in death.
Along with several nieces and nephews, she is survived by sisters, Pearl Ann Davis, Rosetta Loudermilk and Mary McCleery.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Marvin McMahon, Leon McMahan, and Willis McMahon; and sisters, Oleta Rumph, Annabelle Pogue, Thelma Thompson and Ella Mae McMahon.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home in Brownstown with Jackie McMahon officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Brownstown.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary or Mount Eden Christian Church.
