Edward Youngblood Jr., 79, of Madison, died at 3:39 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary Elizabeth "Libby" Purvis Youngblood; two sons, Mark S. (Lili) Youngblood of Franklin and Shawn E. (Tina Neace) Youngblood of Columbus; a daughter, Colleen Youngblood (Tommy) Vest of Canaan; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Doug (Tara) Youngblood of Osgood; sisters, Shirley (Bill) Little of Madison, Doris Jones of Centennial, Colorado, Mary Jo (Paul) Harding of Nabb, Linda Jenkins of Madison, Katie (Larry) Wilking of Madison, Jenny (Jerry) Ford of Dupont, and Felicia (Clarence) Bruce of Lexington; his stepmother, Nina Youngblood of Madison; and stepsisters, Sandy Baker and Essie Baker of Madison.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison with Paul Brewster officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Madison.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Wounded Warrior Project.
