Martha Irene Rybolt, 92, of Daytona Beach, Florida, formerly of Columbus, passed on August 23, 2014, surrounded by her family.
Our beloved Martha Irene (Fulks) Rybolt was received into Jesus' arms and was greeted by loved ones who preceded her, including her loving husband, Ray, and two of their children, Wanda Roy and James Rybolt.
Born June 10, 1922, in Brown County, Indiana, she married Ray Rybolt March 19, 1938.
She was employed for many years by Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation and was a member of Bethel Holiness Church. She lived the last days of her life in Daytona Beach, Florida.
She leaves behind a daughter, Lynda Greene; nine grandchildren, Johnny Roy, Frankie Rybolt, Marti Rybolt Ford, Robert Tolen, Lee Tolen, Travis Redford, Angela Black, Michele Cook and Billie Magaw; and a multitude of great- and great-great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
She lived a long life filled with laughter and love built upon her Christian beliefs. She was a great teacher of unconditional love and forgiveness. She was the last living member of the fifth generation.
A celebration of her life will be held at noon Saturday at Barkes Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Robert Thompson officiating. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. to time of service Saturday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
