James B. Morris, 78, of Nineveh, Indiana, passed away Friday, August 29, 2014, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana In-Patient Facility in Columbus, Indiana. He was born March 8, 1936, in Edinburgh, Indiana. The son of Ben Morris and Erschel M. (Taylor) Morris. He married David Ann (Gregson) Morris on August 30, 1991. She preceded him in death on January 22, 2003.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews and his companion, Darlene Bozell of Columbus, Indiana.
Preceded in death by his parents; his wife; brothers, Victor Morris and Charles Holland Morris; and sisters, Annabell Morris, Lorraine Parsley, and Elizabeth Ault.
He graduated from Edinburgh High School in 1954. He was an US Air Force veteran. He retired from the maintenance department at Wonder Bread Company in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana, with the Reverend Jake Morrison officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana.
