Bettie Ruth Petro, 91, of Midway Street, died at 3:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011, at Kindred Transitional Care of Columbus.
Mrs. Petro was a member of Petersville United Methodist Church for more than 80 years and was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Garland Brook Mausoleum Chapel with calling from noon until service time. The Rev. Jerald Turner will officiate. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memories may be directed to Petersville United Methodist Church, the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
Arrangements were made by Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street.

Born in Columbus Oct. 9, 1920, Mrs. Petro was the daughter of Allen C. and Mary Elizabeth Stuckey Hull.
She is survived by a son, Floyd Richard (Carol J.) Petro of Columbus; a granddaughter, Lori A. (Kenneth) Pardue of Hope; and great-grandchildren, Kendra J. and Tommy Ray Pardue of Hope.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Petro, on Dec. 25, 1976; a sister, Mary Evelyn Perkins, in 2011; and an aunt, Emma Stuckey.
