Phyllis A. (Bryant) Anderson, 72 of Fairlawn Drive died at 3:27 p.m. Wednesday, May 09, 2012 at Silver Oaks Health Campus.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Columbus, November 22, 1939, the daughter of the late Charles and Sister Burton Bryant.
She married Jack Anderson in Columbus on February 29, 1966, he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, playing cards, square dancing, bowling, camping and fishing. She was very involved with her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
At her request there will be no services.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Myers-Reed Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by three daughters, Catherine (Gary) Boice of Celestine, Sheila (Tom) Gray of Columbus, and Jacquelyn (Eric) Shaver of Greensburg; a son, Jack (Jennifer) Anderson Jr. of New Albany; three sisters, Louise (Robert) Baldwin of Columbus, Helen ZeBell of Columbus and Shirley Gallagher of Reno, NV.; four brothers, Ralph, Johnny (Margie), Tom (Shirley) and Charles (Vanessa) Bryant all of Columbus; and several grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, Mrs. Anderson was also preceded in death by her grandson, Benjamin Anderson.
