Michael A. "Mac" McLean, 50, of Columbus, died at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at his residence.
He was born in Columbus, June 10, 1961, the son of Duncan A. and Florence Billings McLean.
He married Terri Thompson on April 14, 1989. She survives.
Mac graduated from Franklin College in 1983. He was a former employee of Stone Container in Columbus and Webster West Packaging in North Vernon. He was a Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing and grilling out.
Along with his wife, he is survived by a step-son, Michael A. (Christy) Isaac of Panama Beach, Fla., a step-daughter, Amanda (Travis) Ewbank of Edinburgh; a sister, Sara (Ron) Schaub of Columbus; and grandchildren, Mayce Anderson, Emily Ewbank, Coledon Ewbank, Benjamin Isaac, and one expected in October.
There will be a private family service at a later date. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home.
