Charles Kenneth Callahan Sr., 68, of Brownstown, died at 5:15 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2012, at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Spurgeon Funeral Home in Brownstown with David Sawyers officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from noon until service time Friday. Burial will be at Liberty Cemetery at Norman.
Mr. Callahan is survived by his wife, Cathy Clampitt Callahan; sons, Hershel Kenneth (Charity) Callahan of Kurtz and Charles K. (Kimberly) Callahan Jr. of Spraytown; a daughter, Holly Marie Emery of New Albany; brothers, Russell (Sue) Callahan of Medora, Herman Callahan of Reddington and Devon (Donna) Callahan of Clearspring; sisters, Patricia (Charles) Turner of Franklin and Sue (Roger) Miller of Brownstown; and nine grandchildren.
