Thelma May Oliphant, 87, of Westport, died at 6:45 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2012, at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Greensburg.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1p.m. Monday at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Bob Weeks officiating. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until service time Monday. Burial will be at Hebron Cemetery at Adams.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home
Mrs. Oliphant is survived by her daughters, Yvonne Oliphant of Westport and Barbara (Maurice “Ron”) Merritt of Seymour; her son, Roscoe Oliphant Jr. of Phoenix; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Oliphant Sr.; and daughters, Mary Rigby and Beverly Schwering.
