Paul Vernon Stamper, 79, of Peachtree City, Ga., formerly of Seymour, died Tuesday, May 29, 2012.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour with the Rev. Philip Bloch officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Burkholder Funeral Chapel in Seymour and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour.
Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Immanuel Lutheran School.
Mr. Stamper is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Jane Begley Stamper; three children, Connie (John) Sparks of Brownstown, Paul Anthony Stamper of Peachtree City and Stephen Todd Stamper of Seymour; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Ada Hamilton of Scottsburg, Agnes (Bob) Hensley of Mishawaka and Flossie (James) Barrett of Union, S.C.
