Charles Tipton “Tip” Carter, 91, of Seymour, died at noon, Monday, June 11, 2012, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel in Seymour with the Rev. Rick Prather officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from noon until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
Mr. Carter is survived by his sons, Robert Dale Carter, Charles Thomas Carter and James Tipton Carter; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hestell Franklin Carter.
