Rachelle "Shelley" Derringer, 59, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Mrs. Derringer had worked at Rightway Fasteners. She was a member of Haines City Moose Lodge in Haines City, Fla., since 1993 and loved fishing, reading, and spending time with her family.
Cremation is planned, and a celebration of her life is also planned and will be announced at a later date. Arrangements were made by Norman Funeral Home in Hope.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Mrs. Derringer was born in Columbus on November 26, 1952, the daughter of Wilroe and Phyllis Cochran Williams. She married Jerry Derringer, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1999.
Survivors include a brother, Jerry (Anne) Williams of Columbus; a sister, Linda Branham of Columbus; children, Jerry Ray (Sheri) Derringer and Paula (Gene) Flint, both of Osgood, and Price (Angie) Derringer of Ohio; and grandchildren, Lacey Mae, Derrik and Justin Derringer, all of Osgood.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sisters, Lenita Givens and Wilma Verril; and a brother, Kenneth Williams.
