Jeremiah Douglas Brooks, 35, of North Vernon, died Monday, July 30, 2012, at his residence.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Jeremiah Brooks Memorial Plaque Fund.
Mr. Brooks is survived by his parents, Michael and Phyllis Brooks of North Vernon and Edith and Fred Mahoney of Columbus; a brother, James Kramer of Indianapolis; a sister, Jennifer (Marrion) Campbell of Austin; a stepbrother, Jake Brooks of North Vernon; and a grandmother, Doris Mettler of Columbus;.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, George Collins, Douglas and Bessie Brooks.
