The Rev. Earnest M. "Ernie" Howard Jr., 68, of Cambridge City, a native of the Edinburgh area, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church in Connersville, with the Rev. Bob Roush officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City. Calling will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home in Connersville.
Rev. Howard is survived by his wife, Sandra London Howard; three children, Thomas Nathaniel (Kim) Howard of Pawley Island, S.C., Andrew Shawn (Gretchen) Howard of Chicago, and Carey Lynne Howard of Cambridge City; five grandchildren; three brothers; and three sisters.
