FOR: The scholarships are open to all Bartholomew County high school seniors planning to prusue a college degree. Children of current or former Tri Kappa members are ineligible for a scholarship. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of scholastic achievement, personal development, intent and promise of success. The following documents are required to apply: High school transcript; a letter of reference from a school teacher of employer; a letter of reference from a community member; a short essay or personal letter stating why you would benefit from this award.

campus to complete at least a one-year program in the IVY Institute or earn a technical certificate or associate

dental school as long as he/she maintains a B average.

a maximum $50,000 adjusted gross income with one college student in the family or $70,000 adjusted gross

income with two college students in the family. Special circumstances will be considered.

graduate studies at an accredited graduate or professional institution and demonstrates leadership, hard

work, good citizenship, community service, dependability, and character. Applicant must be a graduate

or graduating senior of any higher education facility with a minimum 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Applicant

must be enrolled in or accepted for admission in an accredited graduate or professional institution, which

normally maintains a regular faculty and curriculum and normally has a regular organized body of students

in attendance in the place where its educational activities are carried on. The institution may include a college

or university. Students who receive full scholarship support from other organizations/institutions will not be

considered for this scholarship. Financial need will be considered.

later than Feb. 15, 2013 that this information is forthcoming. Preference will be given to students majoring in
