National Weather Service says parts of West, Middle Tenn. could get up to 2 inches of snow

NASHVILLE, Tennessee — Winter weather advisories have been issued for parts of West and Middle Tennessee.

The National Weather Service in Nashville says Humphreys, Robertson, Montgomery, Stewart, Houston and Dickson counties in Middle Tennessee could get up to 2 inches of snow by Monday morning. Davidson County could see as much as an inch.

In West Tennessee, weather officials say some of the northern counties may get as much as 2 inches. Memphis could see one-half inch.

Temperatures are expected to drop below freezing for most of the state.
