Coroner releases name of California teenager hit, killed by car in Denver

DENVER — Authorities have released the name of a California teenager who was hit and killed by a car in Denver.

The Denver Post reports (http://dpo.st/ZYAa4a ) 18-year-old Sheldon Allmon, of Auburn, California, was seriously injured on Federal Boulevard in the southern part of the city at about 9 p.m. Friday. He died at a hospital the following day.

The Denver coroner's office says Allmon died of multiple blunt-force injuries.
