Bears' Matt Forte, Alshon Jeffery active against Packers; Tretter starts at C for Green Bay


GREEN BAY, Wisconsin — Chicago running back and receiver are active for the Bears' game Thursday night against the Green Bay Packers.

Forte missed the last three games with a knee injury, and Jeffery was questionable coming into the night with a groin injury. Jeffery, the team's top receiver, has missed five games this season with groin and shoulder ailments.

Receiver (knee) and tight end (ribs) were already declared out. The Bears also will be without safety (knee).

For the Packers, will make his first start at center with out with an ankle injury. The Packers also will be without safety because of a hip injury.

Other Packers inactives include QB , RB , LB and WRs and .

Other Bears inactives include RB , CB , T Nick Beckton and DL .
