Coast Guard rescue 2 women after their personal watercraft got stuck near Brigantine

BRIGANTINE, New Jersey — Two women are safe after the Coast Guard rescued them when their personal watercraft got stuck near Brigantine.

The women became stranded in shallow marshlands on Sunday.

A Coast Guard helicopter lowered a rescue swimmer who helped hoist the women aboard.

They were taken to Air Station Atlantic City and declined medical assistance.
