NORFOLK, Massachusetts — Police have seized a Jack Russell terrier from a Norfolk home after a video of the dog being abused was posted online.

Police say the dog, named Charlie, is seen in the video being hog tied with electrical tape, struck with an object and has what appears to be marijuana smoke blown into its face.

The Sun Chronicle (http://bit.ly/1FAyNG7 ) reports that the investigation is ongoing and police have several suspects they say may face animal cruelty charges.

No names have been released.

Charlie is in the care of the town's animal control officer.

Police credited the "children, young adults and parents" who came forward to tell them about the video.
