Del. man killed in single-car crash near Frankford; vehicle hit a tree

FRANKFORD, Delaware — Delaware State Police say a Dagsboro man has been killed when his car hit a tree.

It happened about1:30 a.m. Friday on DuPont Boulevard. Troopers say 37-year-old Anthony Jacono Jr. was traveling north when his car began to fishtail and spin. The vehicle drove into a median and hit a tree.

Jacono was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is under investigation.
